Eddy Current Test

Eddy Current Test

Eddy current test is an electromagnetic Non-destructive testing (NDT) system that helps detect any defects in non-ferrous tubes. J in9lp,-m This is a surface technique and can readily detect very shallow surface defects (fatigue crack, intergranular stress corrosion cracks etc.), subsurface defects (inclusions, voids, etc.) within a depth of less than 6mm. It can also identify pitting, cracking, microbiological-induced corrosion damage, support wear, erosion etc.
The Eddy Current Tests inspection helps the user in,
Arudra is equipped with advanced multi frequency eddy current machines such as INSIS – EC & EX and MS – 5800 that also help in data analysis of the test.
Our engineers are Level II NDT certified and ensure to carry out these tests in compliance to ASTM testing standards.
