Water cooled power plant condensers have a propensity for scale formation in the insides of the tubes. In many cases, these scales can be very hard/thick and very adhering to the surface. Direct Hydro jetting of Bullet shot cleaning will not suffice to remove all the deposits. In all these cases, the condensers are highly recommended to be subject to acid cleaning followed by either Bullet Shot Cleaning of Hydro jetting. This process results in near 90 – 95% cleaning of the insides of the deposits thereby aiding in the improvement of heat transfer of the Condenser.
